Before Iowa called, Polly had to survive Boston…

Polly couldn’t ignore the call of the big city. When she left her small hometown in Iowa for college in Boston, she thought she’d never look back. Now 14 years later, she's “living the dream,” but she can’t help feeling like something is missing…

As Polly’s friends try to convince her she has everything she needs, the former Iowa girl wonders if she should revisit her country roots. But as her heart yearns for something more than city lights can provide, her jealous ex-boyfriend stalks her every move. Iowa may be the next chapter for Polly, but first, she has some unfinished business…

Finding the Road Home is the captivating prequel to the Bellingwood Series, a collection of small-town cozy mysteries. If you like characters at a crossroads, pulse-pounding twists, and country charm, then you’ll love Diane Greenwood Muir’s enchanting series.

  • This could be great...But isn't

Yes, the author is a great storyteller, but the ever increasing number of errors throughout the series bring my rating down to a two for all books. The stories make you want to lose yourself in the books, but just when I felt like I was in Bellingwood, another stupid error dropped me back into reality. Spelling, incorrect word usage, really poor grammar to start. Then, each sentence needs a subject and a verb. Adjectives and prepositions do matter. Words may sound alike, but they are NOT interchangeable! Most commonly, faze and phase have widely different meanings. Rein and reign are not the same. She drives me crazy, and advertises herself as a best selling author. Certainly by now she can hire a proofreader who understands the King's English.
