A Deadly Game Catherine Crier epub

In this #1 New York Times bestseller, Catherine Crier, a former judge and one of television's most popular legal analysts, offers a riveting and authoritative account of one of the most memorable crime dramas of our time: the murder of Laci Peterson at the hands of her husband, Scott, on Christmas Eve 2002. Drawing on extensive interviews with key witnesses and lead investigators, as well as secret evidence files that never made it to trial, Crier traces Scott's bizarre behavior; shares dozens of transcripts of Scott's chilling and incriminating phone conversations; offers accounts of Scott's womanizing from two former mistresses before Amber Frey; and includes scores of never-before-seen police photos, documents, and other evidence.

The result is thoroughly engrossing yet highly disturbing -- an unforgettable portrait of a charming, yet deeply sociopathic, killer.

  • Good story, very bad editing

    By CLG3944
This book laid out the events very clearly. I learned a lot from this book. The major problem with this book and the reason I only give two stars is due to the editing. Almost every word in the book is hyphenated! It is actually very hard on the eyes to try and read a lot of the words. They also spelled Laci's name wrong! Half way through the book the start calling her LCI. Very poor editing! The photos that they showed were nothing spectacular and can be found on Google.
  • Good story - bad editing and way too expensive

    By Lauren D. 
This book obviously wasnt edited and that should have made the price of this book $3.00. I bought the book because i wanted more information about the case and i also wanted to see these, "never before released," photographs. The photographs were not anything major and i regret wasting $15.00 on this book. Overall, the story was good and the events were well mapped out. However, if you are looking for a book that tells you the full Peterson murder story, find a better book that is reasonably priced. Also, referring to the late Laci Peterson as, "LCI," is extremely inconsiderate of the people who knew and loved her.
  • Typos

    By Layne Again!!!
This book has so many typos it's almost impossible to read. Every other word is hypenated...Laci is referred to as LCI, over and over. Maybe you should use a proof reader.
